George Parks, CFP®

George Parks is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and founder of Parks Investment Management, LLC (PIM) located in Bristol, Virginia.

Prior to entering the financial services business, George spent 20 years working for Belk, Inc., a privately-owned department store group. He began his career as a management trainee and advanced to Division President. He graduated from Davidson College in 1980, majoring in Economics.

George previously served with American Values Investments for 21 years (2001-2022) as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. He continues to provide portfolio management services on a contractual basis.

George and his wife, Beth Parks, have one daughter, Kimberly, is a member of Central Presbyterian Church, and lives in Bristol, Virginia.
